I was born in Pesaro back in 1976 and I have been drawing pretty much forever.
A family of artists helped me discover myself and my abilities.
I started working while still at school, creating illustrations and cartoons for several magazines. Right away I built up my experience by working with studios in the field, and then created the Deliranti: a collective of artists brought together to collaborate on projects and productions of any kind and style, special effects, 2D and 3D animation, illustration and character design.
Education
On 20 May 1995 I earned my high school diploma in Animated Film at ISAU (State Art Institute of Urbino), followed in 1998 by the advanced diploma in the same institute and specialization (Animated Drawing).
Experience
Over the years I have worked with and created productions for Adidas, Malossi, Sky, Mediaset, Le Iene, All Music, Rai, Museum, Munchies, Kabbalah, Damon Wayans, UCLA, Cinespace, Google, Vodafone, TIM, BlackBerry, Bacio di Frutta, National Geographic, Fnac, Hormonauts, The Desk, Stand Up, institutional videos for the Marche Region, ITC Movies, CPL Concordia, Stars for Children, Yoox, Shakebid, Juventus, Ted Channel, Sky Hot Club, Canon, Ferrero, Febal, SkiBox, Gnagno, Pershing Yacht, Tankoa Yacht, Unicredit, Vital Farms, SAG-AFTRA, Save the Children, Death Division, Yonder, Billy Ray Cyrus, Nic & Pancho, Eden Viaggi and Giovanni Rana. I have designed graphics and clothing for Ochio, Waikiki, Lumberjack, Richmond, Occhineri, Papete and Waimea, the character design for the animated series Billy and Bootsy and Bootsy Collins' album artwork.
From 2000 to 2006 I designed characters and helmets for the MotoGP World Championship, as well as brands and logos of every kind. In 2013 I created a comic book, presented at San Diego Comic-Con, for the Hot Wheels film Snake and Mongoose .
I was art director at 33MnT, creating animated 3D content for Hologram Technology and VR (virtual reality) content. Today I develop in VR and work on several productions, from NFTs to wine labels, and I collaborate on various productions in the United States.
Teaching
I have taught courses for comic artists (freehand and graphics tablet drawing), 3D modelling and rendering (Cinema 4D), virtual reality painting, interior design, and drawing and design with Procreate on iPad, as well as teaching activities for teachers and students.
I taught 2D and 3D animation at the Depero State Art Institute in Rovereto and for 2 years at the Mengaroni State Art Institute in Pesaro (school-work programme and PON course). I currently teach VR art and other courses at the Mengaroni in Pesaro, and I took part in BAD (Bergamo Animation Days 2025) at the University of Bergamo, teaching virtual reality painting and drawing.
Software skills
Excellent knowledge of Mac software for 2D graphics and animation: Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere), Sketchbook and Painter. I teach Procreate, Feather3D and Procreate Dreams. I use 3D modelling, animation and rendering software (Cinema 4D, ZBrush, Unity) and develop VR apps (Unity for Meta Quest 3). I have been working on Mac for about 30 years and have gained solid experience in organizing and producing large audio and video productions.
I speak Italian (native) and fluent English.
Personal skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills, great flexibility and experience in seeing projects through. I enjoy teamwork and I am used to working towards goals.
Enthusiasm, initiative and energy have always driven me forward, discovering new techniques along the way and setting myself new goals. I keep growing personally and professionally, and I adapt easily to new environments and work situations.
Another great passion of my life is martial arts: I practised Aikido for about 5 years, Taekwondo and Capoeira, before moving on to floor gymnastics (acrobatic gymnastics).
On 2 January 2018 my son Blue was born: I hope I can pass on to him everything I have learned in this crazy life. In 2020 Jago was born.
Delirium is a virtue of humankind… and my motto has always been “LONG LIVE LIFE!”
Music
I have loved music since I was a kid: at 14 I started playing guitar, then I learned drums out of curiosity and instinct, and bass came naturally.
